Are you a democrat

Welcome to Are you a Democrat

Many people vote a straight party line, not aware of major changes in the platforms of their preferred party over the years.

We hope that taking this quiz will show you how your core values align with the platforms of both parties, and that you will give thought to the importance of voting your convictions vs voting for a party that may or may not deserve your vote.

You may be surprised by how much the party values have changed.

Your answers will be graded as if you are a Democrat.

Socialism : Do you support the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)? (Note: DSA is taking root among Democrats. They want a working-class democracy to replace the Constitution. They want open borders, no police, prisons or ICE.)

Immigration: Do you believe that during Donald Trump's second term as president the federal government is doing a good job managing immigration and maintaining border security? (Note: Net Migration was negative in 2025. First time in over 50 years.)

Religious Freedom: Should government be allowed to punish people who refuse to violate sincerely held religious beliefs. (Note: Recent Supreme Court cases reversing discrimination: Evangelist in a park; Religious accommodation denied; Prayer on football field after games; State student aid program eligibility; WW1 cross on government property; Covid19 vaccine mandates)

"Women's Sports: Should transgender women (biological males at birth who say they identify as female by gender), be allowed to participate in women's sports? (Note: Biology teaches that biological men tend to be physically bigger and stronger than biological women.)"

Election Integrity: Should Congress pass the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act which would require proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote? (Note: Most states already require a photo ID to validate voters for an election.)
